A new approach to education teaches skills and values from team sports.

Sevwins Prep is a one-year, 2 semester (20-week) program for parents and students, aiming to rethink what character development and college ready can, and should, look like. Pieces of the program have been taken by over 2,400 students and nearly 1,000 parents. Now it’s time to bring accessible and comprehensive substantive learning to those who need it most.
A student takes the the “100-point challenge” in a smart and interactive self-authoring program, solo or with a family member. “The best 1-unit course” asks 13- to 19-year-olds to wrestle the innermost character questions while sharpening practical skills that create clear vision and weekly planning. Values exploration meets skills training.
The program’s tech-centered delivery brings the best in self-control training and habit creation to each student for $125 per year and $6.25 per student hour. A score of 70% or more earns the young adult the “Character Cup”. Families gain the clarity to reinforce healthy college conversations and character development.

Students commit to one night a week for 2 challenging 10-week semesters. Families are guided in the college selection process with a stream of info and perspective. The training is at no cost to the student or family. We reach the students who need it most.

About Greg Moore
In his 20+ year collegiate coaching career and as a former Division I pitcher and catcher, Greg Moore studied student behavior to identify ways to inspire action. He is widely known as a top leader and mentor that helps players develop skills, values and habits to achieve success. This approach to teaching, combined with deep experience and humble beginnings, led him to expose his philosophies to the world through Sevwins Prep.
Moore won the 2017 National Consortium of Academics and Sports (NCAS) prestigious National Student-Athlete Giant Steps Award for a rendition of this life-skills program. Over 2,400 students and nearly 1,000 parents have taken part since 2001.
